Well here I am twice as tired as when I left, somehow camping with a 5,3 and 1 year old and 2 dogs (one in season sigh) wasn't quite so relaxing! It was just like a normal week in my life but with the extra hassle of tents ha ha. But we had great fun, Yarmouth sea front was terrifying and hilarious as always (only managed half day before we had run away ha ha). We saw a lovely flight of cranes out on a boat trip on the broads and sitting on the beach I saw loads of seals and a little porpoise, I was so chuffed! I also finished the little bear that I started before I left, so here is the result of the dyeing experiment, little Bill.
Summer? well not really is it, but all 3 of my princes's seem to be hear every day so it must be!! I've had even less time for making bears than usual trying to keep the monkeys entertained. We have had 3 birthdays to do (we are ven deeper in pink plastic and ponies now!) my husband had food poisoning yuck and I feel like I've been run over by a truck. Despite all that for some reason I feel like having another baby, I think I've lost my mind completely hey?
I have manged a couple of mini needle felted bears and I have just started on a bear for a friends baby and a nice pink bunny, I've never made a bunny so I can't wait to see how she turns out.
I'm looking forward to Sept. 14th a friend and I are going to go to Hugletts and have a day off from babies in big London town! Can you believe it's been 5 years since I was last in London, I'm such a country bumpkin ha ha. This is Sam Peeps in the picture, for sale on Ebay becuase I need money to spend on holiday! Wish us luck as we are going camping up in Norfolk in 10 days time, 3 kids 2 dogs all in a VW camper, so it would be nice if the weather was just a bit less rubbish!
Hopefully my next post will have my two new bears on, and I also found a nice lady on the local craft Market who will take some of my bears to sell. Well I guess they have more chance then sitting in my bedroom?

Well that title says it all, I've been a bad lazy blogger, well as lazy as a woman with 3 kids can be ha ha. I feel like have hardly made anything this month and my Paypal account is very depleted after buying a surf kite for my husband. I'm so selfless! I have had lots going on, my best friend had her first baby on the 4th of July and he is super gorgeous, this is a picture of his bear/cat, I used nice Schulte mohair but put in plastic safety eyes and joints to make him baby friendly, I'm really pleased with how he came out.
I also got a new tattoo, I have friend who owns a place in Cambridge and her husband is the artist, he is awsome and I am totally in love with this. It's the Uffington white horse (who is cut into the chalk in a hillside near Farringdon, I think it's bronze age) anyway I think it's awsome and horses are one of my lifes great loves. Now I need to sell a few more bears to fund the next one, I think I'll have a Kirin, who is a lucky Japanese unicorn (I was born in Japan).
Well this hasn't been very Beary has it, rubbish me, I'll put on a picture of the kitten I've nearly finished, she' another experiment with needle felting and my children are going to be very sad if I sell her, they have been carrying her around and giving me sad looks, damn those toddler faces, toooooo
cute! She doesn'y have a name yet and I'm just about to sow on her tail, but she's nearly there. On a random and not very related subject, do any of you other bloggers exhibit at fairs? and do any of you go to bear fairs just as a bear tourist? I would like to try to go to the Hugglets in August as I've never been to bear fair (I'm sure my husband will be thrilled to be dragged along ha ha) but who knows if I'll actually make it. Well the babies are in bed so I'd better get stitching before someone wakes up and wants their bum wiped, oh the glamour!xxx

Well I'm not sure if it's because it's my birthday tomorrow but I have been feeling all defeatist, I can't seem to sell any of my big bears but the needle fleted ones go down a storm. I know it's hard to build a reputation but I look at things going for loads of money on Ebay that are really boring! I like needle felting but its the real ted's that I enjoy the most, but I can't afford anymore materials if I don''t sell some, as cute as they all look on my shelves ha ha!
Anyway enough moaning, any tips on how to make myself famous and look younger gratefully recieved!
To cheer myself up I made this chap and am really pleased with him, I'm taking needle felting to the next level (as Tyra banks would say). I don't know if I'm just very fast at this but alot of the people doing needle felting claim it takes them weeks or months to produce things, wich I find slightly annoying becuase I don't really see how that's true, unless they do one minute a day for 3 weeks. I don't think it devalues your work if your good at it. Anyway, what a miserable cow I am hey, I hope you like Harlequin Hare Sarahxxx
Well Elsey spent a few days watching me, but I still felt that her true spirit wasn't quite showing through so I decided to give her a needle felted extreme makeover. I have been doing a lot of needle felting but hadn't tried it on a bear before and though it was about time. So here she is complete with neddle felted new face and I'm really pleased with the result!

Well I finally got round to using my swirly purple mohair and here is Elsey. I think she turned out really cute and I reall like this fabric, you don't have to worry about the lie of the fur because of the swirl which makes life a little easier. None of the photo's really do her colour justice, it's a really deep plummy colour and not so browmn as the pictures make it look, she's watching me type! I havn't made any little dogs this week, feel like I've been slacking off, but I've been really tired and now it's half term so I'm knee deep in babies. I think I'll try a chihuahua, people seem nuts about those. I don't know wether to put Elsey on Ebay or not, I havn't had much luck selling the big bears. My husband says I get discouraged to easily, but it's hard knowing how to build a reputation without forking out loads of cash.
On a more cheer full note our new chickens came home yesterday, they are 3 rescued battery hens who had never seen the great out doors until today, bless their little souls, they are really friendly and even managed to lay eggs after all that stress! Ho hum I'm off to felt a tiny dog....after I stop this baby from screamimg and scrub the dog poo off the patio hooray for my glamorous life!
